Much of the swimming near Zadar is on the islands across the channel, and a boat takes you straight into the bays. These are the beaches and bays where our private trips stop.
Sakarun, Dugi otok
A sandy beach in a shallow bay on the north-west of Dugi otok. It is the longest stop on our Dugi otok trip, a full day of about 60 nautical miles on our route.
Vodenjak bay, Mali Iž
A bay by Mali Iž on the island of Iž, the first swim stop on our Veli Iž trip. The full-day route is about 29 nautical miles.
Južna Luka, Muline
A beach in Muline on the north-west tip of Ugljan, where the Veli Iž trip stops for a last swim before Zadar.
Preko beaches, Ugljan
The beaches at Preko, across the channel from Zadar, are the swim stops of our half-day Ugljan trip, about 8 nautical miles in all. The distances are short, so most of the time goes to the stops.
Telašćica
The Kornati trip stops to swim inside Telašćica Nature Park on Dugi otok. The park ticket is paid separately.
Rent a boat or take a trip
With a licence you can rent the Ryck 280, Atlantic Marine 750 and Tiger Marine 650 and plan your own beach day; Ugljan and the channel are close. Without one, each of these trips goes with our skipper.
