Before you go
You do not need a boat licence to rent a boat with IZY BOAT. Without one, the boat goes out with our skipper: the skipper drives, and you choose where to go and where to stop.
The skipper costs €120 per rental, on top of the boat price, for a half day or a full day. It is a fixed price, not per person and not per hour.
Every boat in our fleet can go out with a skipper. The Badili, White Shark and Zodiac go out with our skipper only.
To drive a boat yourself in Croatia you need a valid boat licence. With one, you can rent the Ryck 280, Atlantic Marine 750 and Tiger Marine 650 without a skipper.
Self-drive needs a security deposit, as a card hold or in cash. From 3 days of self-drive you get 10% off.

If nobody in your group has a licence, or you want to go further than the channel in front of Zadar, take the skipper. The skipper knows the routes, the anchorages and the weather on the day, and nobody in your group has to drive.
The Kornati trip goes only on our fast boats, and they go out with our skipper only.
